The Dromana Foreshore Reserve is a great spot if you want the beach experience without being on the sand. There is a great little grassed area just back from the beach, an undercover gazebo as a wet weather option all whilst being surrounded by the beautiful brightly coloured beach boxes.

Mothers Beach in Mornington offers a serene and picturesque setting perfect for a picnic, with its calm waters and stunning views of the bay. This beach is ideal for lounging and enjoying a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. Its very close to the cafes, restaurants and bars in Main St, Mornington, which makes it a great location.

Mornington Park is a delightful location for a luxe picnic, offering expansive lawns, mature trees, and a serene atmosphere that creates the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The park has a couple of undercover gazebos which is great to have as a backup option as well. It’s a very central location, close to the cafes, restaurants and bars of Main St, Mornington and the beautiful Mothers Beach.

This beach has beautiful white sand, tussocks and the prettiest beach boxes in the background. The beach is quite wide so there is plenty of space away from other beach goers. There is also lots of parking and amenities.

The gardens surround the historic Briars Homestead and outbuildings making it a unique location on the Mornington Peninsula.
